Homeschool Art Classes
Explore. Create. Learn. Grow.
Tropical Day Art Academy offers hands-on art classes where students build foundational skills while exploring a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, clay, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media. Through creative projects and guided instruction, students develop artistic skills, fine-motor coordination, observation, creativity, and confidence.
Classes are offered for Elementary (K–5) and Intermediate (Middle & High School) students, with projects tailored to each level.
We teach children to see the world through the eyes of an artist.
Elementary Art (k-5)
Students will develop fine-motor skills, creativity, and confidence through hands-on exploration of drawing, painting, the elements of art, and other creative mediums. They will also be introduced to basic art history by learning about artists and their artwork.
Intermediate Art (6-12)
Students will refine their artistic and fine-motor skills while diving deeper into creative techniques, artistic processes, and a variety of mediums like watercolor, acrylic, printmaking, 3D art, mix media and more! They will study influential artists and explore art history while developing their own creative voice and artistic skills.
